GOALS

Exploration: explore class topics beyond what we can accomplish in class, as well as to consider ideas/resources outside our specific curriculum.

Conversation: extend class conversations into a 24/7 format.

Writing: provide students with an on-going journaling/writing process that is not focused on an end product or final copy.

Observational Learning: allow students a non-competitive (anonymous) way to learn from each other by having access to every response, as well as the ability to appropriately comment on other student responses.

Active Collaboration: develop collaborative, two-way, idea-sharing techniques to support class dynamics and life-long learning.

“Digital Footprint”: discuss a student’s life-long “digital footprint” (of on-line content/activities) as the college admissions process (and real world) draws near; target best practices for our on-line behaviors (in/out of school).

Supplement: offer a low-risk choose-your-own-path way for students to strengthen their quarter grades on a daily/weekly basis.
